Our A La Carte Menu is available on Monday to Thursday evenings. It offers two courses for £28.50 per head. On Friday and Saturday evenings we have a larger two course menu at £36.00 per head.

For an extra special evening, we offer our Tasting Menu every day excluding Sundays at £47.50 per head, with an optional wine selection for each course at £30 per head.

Our Living Room Bar is open every night for pre dinner drinks or for a relaxing after dinner digestive.

Our Set Menu changes frequently - and so is posted on the home page under SAMPLE SET MENU. It is available during Monday to Friday lunch and dinner and offers great value for a business or purely social at just £19.50 for 3 course or £12.50 for 2 course. This includes a starter, main course and dessert from a smaller selection of dishes. You are still welcome to order from our A La Carte Menu during lunchtimes (at £28.50 for two courses) if you wish.

Finally, our new “Sunday set menu at The Dining Room” for £19.50 per head. This includes starter, a classic roast main course, and a dessert. Our roasts change every week but will usually include classics such as roast pork, Chateaubriand, roast lamb and chicken. Simply ask when booking.

Please note, for parties of nine people or more there is a party menu which must be used unless agreed beforehand with the restaurant, however we no longer take bookings for eight or more people on Friday or Saturday evenings.

Important information about our menus

• There is an optional service charge of 12.5%. We will add this to your bill unless you ask us to remove it or would like to add a different charge.
• The Dining Room is a completely non-smoking restaurant in accordance with the new law of 1st July 2007.
• If you have any food allergies, please notify our staff before you place your order. If during your meal you are unhappy with anything, please notify the waiting staff so that we can try to put it right while you are with us.
• Please note that if you're using this website to check out our menus, we have one simple rule: it's what's in the restaurant that counts! We will always try to keep this site up to date, but sometimes prices will change, dishes will not be available because of seasonal ingredients, we may decide to change menus without notice or the website editor might be on holiday! Whichever it is, please don't assume that what you read here is 100% correct all of the time. What applies at The Dining Room is what you see on the menu when you're with us. Thanks.
